valentine day??

It has a been a long time since my last pots in my blog. ngee =.='' anyway, today is valentine! yeah.. you know it. huh! the truth is, even I'm already 18, I never celebrate valentine(I mean, with a special lady). maybe I haven't found one or what ever the reason is. But I still celebrate it by greeting the people I love. my family, friends n teachers. because as far as I know, valentine is the opportunity for us to show our love to our beloved. (It's not specific to couple only!) until the people get used of celebrating valentine only with their couple.. am I right?

Enough with that. I have some feeling of disappointment when some people make use valentine to critics and curse other religion. yes, Christian. from what I read and hear, people always misunderstand(I think so. or they have other 'mission' behind) about valentine and Christian that lead them to speak or write something that honestly, irritating...
valentine day, is held in memory of Saint Valentine who have their(the Christians) own reason why they want celebrate the date, 14 february. whatever it is, people always relate valentine day with vices(I'm sorry if it's too much). yes. I can't deny about it. because those who do it(vices) is nothing less that lack of religious education. but I cannot accept it when they relate the vices that done by the people in valentine and directly point out their finger to the religion, Christian. why?simple. The doctrine of Christianity never say yes to vices. not only Christian, but every single religion
in the world never stand on a doctrine that allow vices. none.

It's true that valentine day is founded by a Christians. But valentine is never exist in the doctrine of the
religion(Christian). The words, ' valentine day' never exist in the Bible. It's a worldly tradition that make
people forget about what their religion has taught them. So now I ask you, who should be blamed,
the religion, or the wordly people who ignored their religion?

I'm sorry if my post has annoyed anybody's feeling. I'm not a pastor, I'm not a scholars who knows every single thing about religion. But I am a growing boy, a youth who believe that none of the religions that exist today do
stands for a wrong doctrine(except heresy of course). I'm a growing boy who understand that to
live in a peaceful community, every single person should learn to accept all the differences among
them. not by speaking out unjustified opinion of their own or cursing others. peace^^

religion is twisted and changed by man through tradition, but the bible shall stay true from alpha till omega.. words of men can be twisted but not the scripture of God.. Nice one.. =)
